I don’t know

You always are asking if I think Obama wants his poll #s to go down or if he wants unemployment to go up or the deficit to keep climbing. The answer is I don’t know. I have no idea what this guys agenda is. You see him as a pragmatic, intelligent leader who is thinking outside of the box to get us through a crisis that the Republicans created. You see him as a bold leader willing to take on the tough tasks on major issues like health care in a time of crisis. You see him as an inspirational man of integrity, honesty and decency who is simply a public servant trying to do what is best for the people. I see something completely different. So maybe I am brainwashed by a conservative media complex that questions every single thing he does every single day. They are a focused group for sure. I’ll say this. I think that there is no question that there are two different visions for America and both sides are doing their best to convince as many people as possible that their way is the right way. When you lift up the clouds of rhetoric and peel away the political hatchet jobs, I see that one side wants to take us in one direction and the other side wants to take us in another. It becomes further complicated when you mix in social and economic issues together. The Tea Party movement is a perfect example where social conservatives and libertarians are trying to fuse a movement and shape the agenda at the same time.

It’s definitely interesting to try and sort through the information complex and rendor opinions, prove my case, scream foul, etc… But after all that I am going to walk my dogs, take my kid to the park, get her a cookie at the bakery and then come home to watch the Super Bowl with some chips and beer. Enjoy the bowl. Go Saints. I’ll be back again with more belittling, disparaging, indisputable, conjured up facts and opinions tomorrow 🙂

Well I guess if you are for “shoot from the hip, our way or the highway” foreign policy, torture, homophobia, no checks on business/Wall Street, slow or no reaction to domestic catastrophes, then conservatism is the way to go. I don’t see things like that. I DO think he is a pragmatist and has integrity. If you see the opposite then you think he is NOT trying to do good things–has no integrity, and is not intelligent. Let me ask you this: would you prefer Bush/Cheney? I know that is not possible, but do you think the previous admin. was better for the nation?

You still don’t seem to understand how absolutely broke this country is. If “our worst days are behind us” then why are our budget deficits so outlandish in the coming years? If you can explain this and provide compelling evidence that these deficits are good for our country in the long run, then maybe I’ll understand. You cant just say well Bush did it too. Bush did it too and it was really bad. But the increases now are astronomical.

So to answer your question. I’ll take Bush/Cheney. The best of the two worst options.
