You think YOU are frustrated??

This is why today’s conservative message–an idealogy,  in theory,  I could  mostly adopt–will continue to fail. It’s just a 30 second clip, but why…why do they keep doing this? It’s idiotic, unproductive and lowers them in most people’s minds. You hate big government? Keep sending these clowns to the podium and you’ll have it for years to come!

Do you think that’s the kind of jibberish I listen to? I bet you do.

No I don’t at all. My point is–that I’ve been trying to make–is that if you and other conservatives want to get your agenda moving, you have to dissaociate yourself from people like this. THESE are the people making the headlines, not the serious thinkers who have a serious message and want to get the message out there. I’ve been trying to say this for months and you act as though these people don’t exist–and I’m telling you…these are the people that America sees as conservatives. I guess you’d call it a branding problem. You can’t impart a serious message without serious people delivering it. That’s all I’m saying…and you act as though none of this matters. But it does dude!

I guess you made your point. Not sure why you feel you need to do this. But what ever… 🙂 Let me know what you think of the budget or Clinton’s trip to China.

I guess I misssed something about the China trip. You keep referring to it but I’m in the dark. The budget…well it’s a biggie. I don’t have a lot of details and I’m not a financial expert like you, but it seems that the plan, and Warren Buffet seems to agree, is that in a crisis like this you (unfortunately) add to the deficit and debt to stabalize things in the short term and allow markets to stabilize and make cuts in other areas such as Defense (ending the war), try to lower health costs, and bring in a little cash through raising taxes (back to where they were under Clinton) on the top 3% of Americans–which as we all know will be the end of society as we know it. Those tax rates didn’t seem to hurt 10 years ago when the economy was running a surplus. And your taxes won’t be going up any as I’m sure you know. You might actually see them cut–but I haven’t heard you comment on that. So that’s the plan–it will either work or it won’t. We’ll see. If it doesn’t you can have another Republican “conservative” in there to clean things up. Remember , this is, in effect, a cleanup job of the past 6 years or so. And as the famous line goes in “A Few Good Men” I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I’d rather you just said thank you and went on your way. So, this these are the times in which we live. Obama didn’t make this mess, but he was elected to fix it. Why not give him a chance?
