Amazing football fact of the day

Through 48 career starts, Rivers’ 93.5 passer rating, 2.2-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and 33-15 win-loss record are better than the 48-start marks of Manning, Brett Favre and Joe Montana. (San Diego Union-Tribune) This is the third highest career rating in history, behind only S. Young and P. Manning. Better than Brady, Marino, Aikman…

Amazing…and that includes a head coaching change in his second year as a starter. I guess starting off with a decent team and watching from the bench for two years helped a lot. Oh and maybe having LT.

Interesting stats on Rivers. He could really establish himself as a top end qb if he can go in an beat the Steelers at home.
