I’m not a betting man but if I were, I would like these odds:

Arizona Cardinals, +220 online betting odds:

That means bet 100 and win 220.

Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey of Georgia apologized Wednesday for criticizing conservative hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hanity, assuring his supporters that “I am one of you.”

“I regret and apologize for the fact that my comments have offended and upset my fellow conservatives—that was not my intent,” Gingrey said in a statement. “I am also sorry to see that my comments in defense of our Republican Leadership read much harsher than they actually were intended, but I recognize it is my responsibility to clarify my own comments.”

The mea culpa comes one day after Gingrey appeared to take issue with Limbaugh’s recent criticism of congressional Republicans. The conservative radio host said GOP leaders weren’t adequately challenging President Obama on his proposed stimulus package.

“I mean, it’s easy if you’re Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh or even sometimes Newt Gingrich to stand back and throw bricks,” Gingrey told the Politico. “You don’t have to try to do what’s best for your people and your party.”

I don’t know if I ever told you but I am really into

crop circles.  I love the symmetric beauty of them.

Here are a few from 2008 that I liked.

The truth is…

…nobody knows. I don’t know, you don’t know, Warren Buffet doesn’t know, Obama doesn’t know, and obviously Bush didn’t know how to fix the economy.  But let me ask you this–if business taxes were dropped to zero; nada; nothing- -would it pull is out of this mess? Of course not. If every piece of pork were removed from the package would it pull us out? No. It comes down to micro-psychology; macro-psychology; media reports; oil demands; pain thresholds; national security; risk/reward ratios; politics–there’s a lot more to it than taxes.

Do you think churches/ religious affiliates should be tax exempt?  If yes, why? If not, how come I’ve never heard you bitch about it–because low/no taxes is a good thing in general for all? Or because they are doing charitable “humanitarian” works?
