Interview

I’ll admint that she lacks the complete breadth of experience McCain and Biden have.  But idiot?  What part of the interview made you think she is an idiot?  Speaking of the interview, that was just appalling. Charles Gibson is an asshole and NBC should be ashamed.  I have my problems with Fox, but when O’Reilly interviewed Obama, they treated him with the respect that he deserved.   Did you see what I saw or do I need to expand?

Economy

Posted in Uncategorized on September 14, 2008 by urstupidnourstupid

You said previously that the “liberal media” was trying to scare people into thinking the economy was in trouble–and I agreed that the economy didn’t seem as bad as they said. I now disagree. Look at the facts.

  • 6.6% unemployment
  • Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac collapse
  • Mortgage bailout
  • Housing market collapse
  • Gas prices
  • Bear Stearns/Lehman Bros.
  • Cost of the war
  • Debt/deficit
  • Greenspan says the worst he’s ever seen
  • Auto layoffs

Is this a good economy? One that you want Palin involved in to help fix? Or MCCain who by his own admission doesn’t know a lot about economics?

Tax plans

Posted in Uncategorized on September 14, 2008 by urstupidnourstupid

Here’a a good summary of the two candidates’ tax plans. Now tell me what is so bad about Obama’s plan and why he’s being called a Socialist. I don’t agree with the estate tax being so high, but other than that, isn’t the middle class the ones who should get the tax breaks–not the ones making over $250,000? In Obama’s plan you (we) would fare better–and the deficit would would decrease. Under McCain’s plan we would do only marginally better but the deficit would continue to increase. Basically it looks like Obama’s plan reverts back to the Clinton rates–39% top income tax rate, (instead of 35%)etc. Oooohhhh….scary!!
